چکیده

Objective: To develop coenzyme Q10 (co-Q10) nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) using stearic acid (SA) and various liquid lipids with different lipophilicity as well highlights the use of in silico studies for predicting elucidating interaction drug-lipid used carries NLCs, at molecular level.
Methods: The co-Q10 NLCs were prepared SA solid oleic (OA), isopropyl myristate (IPM), palmitate (IPP) by high shear homogenization method. Firstly, formulas optimized appropriate required HLB (rHLB). characterized particle size, distribution zeta potential, crystallinity behavior, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra, morphology, entrapment efficiency (EE), drug loading (DL), pH value. drug-lipids was studied AutoDock Vina program.
Results: possessed mean polydispersity index (PDI), EE, DL, values 180 to 350 nm,<0.5,<-30 mV, 83 88%, 10 11%, 5.0 5.6, respectively. EE DL increased decreasing binding energy (∆G) silico.
Conclusion: OA, IPM, IPP developed successfully. Furthermore, study docking is a potential approach development formulation.

A comparative evaluation of coenzyme Q10-loaded liposomes and solid lipid nanoparticles as dermal antioxidant carriers

BACKGROUND The effective delivery of coenzyme Q10 (Q10) to the skin has several benefits in therapy for different skin pathologies. However, the delivery of Q10 to deeper layers of skin is challenging due to low aqueous solubility of Q10. Liposomes and solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) have many advantages to accomplish the requirements in topical drug delivery. This study aims to evaluate the in...

Nanostructured Lipid Drug Carriers

solid lipid carriers – NLC. Particulate lipid matrices in the form of lipid pellets are known from the textbooks since many years, products are on the market (e. g. Mucosolvan retard, Boehringer-Ingelheim). After these lipid pellets as the first generation, P. Speiser developed so-called “lipid nanopellets for oral administration” in the middle of the eighties [1]. This system was not further d...
